WOOL AND THE GANG Sugar Baby Alpaca

Baby alpaca fibre is taken from the neck and nape of the animal and is often from the first shearing of an alpaca, giving you the softest, most beautiful fibre the animal is likely to produce.

Treasure of the ancient Inca civilisation, alpaca was considered "the fibre of the Gods" and could only be worn by kings during ceremonies. Our alpaca yarn comes from populations bred in the Andean Highlands, making their wool extremely strong, elastic, soft and fine.

Our Sugar Baby Alpaca combines a deluxe natural fibre, produced in very limited quantities.

This yarn gives cashmere a run for its money. Soft and fine, it’s amazing for more delicate knits.
